Extraction Solutions Experienced Associate, BDOADVANTAGE

As a member of the BDOADVANTAGE team, the Extraction Solutions Experienced Associate is responsible for supporting moderately complex data extraction and transformation efforts across multiple ERP systems. This role supports the design, development, and implementation of standardized ETL workflows, tools, and methodologies used by audit professionals. The position requires a strong technical foundation, the ability to solve complex data challenges, and a focus on improving data quality, consistency, and scalability., * Independently performs data extraction activities across various ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Sage)

• Builds, executes, and supports ETL workflows using tools such as Excel, Alteryx, SQL, or Power BI
• Performs data preparation tasks, including cleansing, formatting, and validating datasets
• Applies defined extraction procedures and follows established workflows and methodologies, adapting to address non-standard or ambiguous data challenges
• Identifies data inconsistencies, troubleshoots routine issues, and escalates complex issues to senior team members
• Documents extraction processes and maintains workflow documentation to support consistency and repeatability
• Contributes to process improvements that enhance data quality, efficiency, and scalability of extraction solutions

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with a broad audience, demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and contribute to continuous improvement of extraction processes and solutions., * Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, preferred, * One (1) year of experience in data extraction, ETL development, required

• Exposure to financial data environments or ERP systems, required
• Experience working with ETL tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or SQL, required, * Familiarity with data transformation and data preparation techniques, required
• Experience with one (1) or more of the following ETL resources, preferred
• Power BI, Fabric, or Alteryx
• Azure Data Factory or Databricks
• SQL Database
• MS Excel and Power Query
• Working knowledge of various ERP systems and accounting packages, preferred, * Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with growing independence
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines
• High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
• Ability to document processes clearly for team and engagement use

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $80,000 - $90,000 Maryland Range: $80,000 - $90,000 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $80,000 - $90,000
