Audit Data Analytics Senior Manager, BDOADVANTAGE

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead analytics and automation initiatives within the BDO Advantage team to modernize how audit work is done. You will guide cross-functional colleagues, design scalable data analytics solutions, and drive adoption of innovative methods across engagement teams and clients. You’ll balance creative problem-solving with disciplined execution to improve audit quality and efficiency. This is a high-energy, collaborative role with a clear impact on practice modernization. Compensation / Benefits * Lead analytics and automation projects from ideation to delivery * Manage a growing team of analytics professionals and mentor their development * Design and deploy Power BI data models, DAX visuals, and reporting templates * Ensure analytics visuals are user-friendly and align with internal standards * Collaborate with Professional Practice, National IT, National Innovation, and BDO Global teams * Develop repeatable analytics routines by structuring data models effectively * Invest 15-20% of time in emerging technology projects and experiments * Support proposal activity and integrate analytics into go-to-market strategies * Provide training sessions on data analytics routines to engage users * Monitor stakeholder feedback and iterate on analytics tools Tasks * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required) * Seven (7) or more years of accounting or finance experience (required) * Prior supervisory experience (required) * Prior project management experience (required) * Certified Public Accountant license (required) * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (required) * Experience with data visualization tools (required) * Experience with Power BI (preferred) * Strong SQL knowledge (preferred) * Reading/understanding Power Query, M language and DAX (strongly preferred) * Working knowledge of accounting and audit methods (required) Key requirements * ESOP company * Total Rewards benefits * meaningful work * leaders invested in your success * career growth opportunities * competitive compensation ranges
