Systems Specialist

Our Client is seeking an experienced Systems Specialist to support enterprise-level programme and project management systems across major infrastructure and capital delivery programmes.

This role sits within a PMO Systems environment, supporting programme teams with cost management, reporting, governance, integrations, and financial controls. The successful candidate will act as the lead administrator and subject matter expert for a highly specialised cost management platform, while working closely with programme stakeholders to support operational and reporting requirements.

About the Opportunity This is a highly specialised role supporting a niche enterprise platform with a limited talent pool. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value programmes while contributing to the ongoing evolution of programme controls and reporting capability within a major infrastructure environment. It is not a Project Manager role however, the position works closely with PMO, Programme Controls, Commercial, and delivery teams., * Administer and support Contruent / Deltek Prism

• Act as the primary system administrator and key point of contact for Prism
• Run and maintain cost and programme reports
• Manage uploads, period loads, system configurations, and technical changes
• Support end users with queries, reporting amendments, and change requests
• Work closely with programme teams to understand business processes, cost management workflows, and reporting needs
• Support ongoing system improvements and future migration to cloud-based solutions
• Liaise with PMO colleagues, programme controls teams, and wider system stakeholders
• Support governance, change control, and reporting activities across major programmes

Do you have experience in Primavera P6?, * Hands-on administration experience with Contruent / Deltek Prism

• Cost management systems and reporting expertise
• Stakeholder and end-user support within PMO or programme environments

Required Experience

• Proven experience administering and supporting Contruent / Deltek Prism
• Experience producing and maintaining cost and programme reports
• Strong background supporting business users, not solely technical configuration
• Experience working within large, complex infrastructure, capital delivery, or enterprise programme environments
• Understanding of programme governance, cost control, and change management
• Experience managing uploads, period loads, configurations, and reporting cycles
• Strong stakeholder management skills within matrix programme environments

Desirable Experience Top 3 Desirable Skills

• Experience with wider cost management systems
• Strong understanding of programme governance and cost control processes
• Background in transport, infrastructure, or major capital programmes

Additional desirable experience includes:

• PMO or Programme Controls background
• Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Power BI report development
• API integration and data mapping experience
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Experience supporting systems development and technical change implementation
• Vendor management experience
• Exposure to enterprise information management systems
