Test Automation Engineer

The team operates in a DevOps environment with two-week sprints and collaborates closely with business stakeholders, testers, engineers, and application support teams. The landscape is complex, highly integrated, and contains numerous APIs and regulatory requirements, creating an exciting environment for an experienced test automation professional., * Functional and application maintenance of mortgage application systems.

• Develop and maintain automated regression test suites using Java, BDD, and Selenium.
• Test and deploy software releases.
• Support users of mortgage application platforms.
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Improve release automation and operational efficiency.
• Performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain virtual test environments and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the mortgage chain and system integrations.
• Review and improve technical and operational documentation.
• Participate in production deployments and on-call rotations.

• Strong experience in financial applications and mortgage products.
• Experience implementing financial software packages.
• Expert-level test automation experience.
• Strong API testing experience.
• Experience building virtual test environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Docker.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban environments.
• Monitoring and observability experience, including Azure Insights and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to investigate issues deep into .NET application layers.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.

• Linux and Windows operations and automation experience.
