Job description
This is not a traditional architecture position. You will take ownership of the global implementation and adoption of Microsoft Fabric, defining the target architecture, governance framework, and operating model that will support the organisation’s long-term data strategy. Acting as the bridge between business and technology, you will ensure data is leveraged effectively across multiple regions, business units, and stakeholders worldwide., * Lead the global architecture and rollout of Microsoft Fabric across the organisation
- Design and implement scalable, future-proof data platforms and architectures
- Translate business objectives into practical and efficient data solutions
- Establish and drive data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards
- Define and maintain enterprise-wide data models, architecture principles, and documentation
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape the organisation’s global data strategy
- Lead and mentor data engineers, architects, and other data professionals
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of modern data platforms
- Promote best practices in data management, architecture, and cloud technologies across international teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in a leadership or managerial position
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data architectures
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, integration, governance, and master data management
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, data warehousing, and modern analytics environments
- Experience implementing or architecting solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, ideally including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and Power BI
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Fluent in English
