Job Summary: The Order Selector Lead leads daily operations within the department to ensure accurate and timely picking processes of all orders with maximum efficiency. Provide coaching assistance to the picking team members. Job Level: Experienced Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for leading the Order Selector team. Ensuring the team maintains picking throughput rate; establishing and enforcing procedures to ensure orders are ready to be packed and shipped daily for distribution operations. Lead all facets of, and implement process controls for narrow aisle picking, flow rack picking, and âscan-to-pick.â Pick orders from carousel, main, flow racks and other areas as necessary. Provide training, counseling, and assist in giving direction and guidance to the team. Heavy use of forklift and reach lift. Operational reporting to include mis-picks, productivity, throughput, and accuracy. Read orders for shipping information, special instruction, product location and quantity. Overtime as business requires. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Job Qualifications: 2 - 3 years of experience in narrow aisle picking. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of performance metrics. Perform root cause analysis to improve pick rate and throughput. Experience with, flow

Understand and respond to written and oral instructions in English for safety, work instructions, policies, etc. Maintain stable performance and poise in high-stress situations. Ability to think on feet. Must be able to identify, troubleshoot, and create solutions to problems. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and WMS systems. Familiarity with AS400 is a plus. Education: High School Diploma WORKING CONDITIONS Environment: Approximately 100% of the time performing job duties is spent indoors in a warehouse with limited heating or air conditioning. Approximately 75% of the time is spent on the computer. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
