This is an entry-level role offering exposure to a broad range of IT responsibilities, including technical support, networking, infrastructure support, cybersecurity fundamentals, and warehouse systems. While progression is gradual, we are committed to developing the successful candidate’s technical capabilities and expanding responsibilities as skills and experience grow.

This position plays an important role in strengthening the internal IT function in the USA. This role will support the IT Manager in building local capability and reducing reliance on third-party IT providers.

The primary focus of the role is hands-on warehouse IT support (PCs, printers, scanners, and system troubleshooting), while also becoming a knowledgeable support contact for our Warehouse Management System (WMS). No prior WMS experience is required as training will be provided. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, learns quickly, applies logical thinking, and takes ownership of issues., IT Technical Support

  • Provide on-site IT support for warehouse and office users
  • Troubleshoot Windows 11 PCs, system updates, hardware, and software issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Connect, configure, and troubleshoot printers (including label and barcode printers)
  • Support handheld scanners and other warehouse-connected devices
  • Set up workstations for new starters (monitors, cables, keyboards, and other IT equipment) and assist users with initial login and setup
  • Support basic networking tasks, including Wi-Fi connectivity and warehouse access point checks
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset records
  • Escalate complex issues when required, while aiming to resolve as much as possible internally

WMS Support (Secondary Focus)

In addition to IT support responsibilities, you will:

  • Learn and develop a strong working knowledge of our Warehouse Management System
  • Provide day-to-day system support to warehouse users and supervisors
  • Troubleshoot WMS transaction errors and user-related system issues
  • Run system reports to identify incomplete transactions or discrepancies
  • Support user training and promote correct system usage
  • Assist with documenting processes and system procedures
  • Contribute ideas to improve system workflows and configuration

This aspect of the role is well suited to someone who enjoys understanding how systems work together and can apply logical thinking to operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on technical troubleshooting skills
  • Good knowledge of Windows PCs, particularly Windows 11
  • Experience installing, updating, and diagnosing PC issues
  • Ability to connect and troubleshoot USB and network printers (desktop and label printers)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Logical thinker with a structured approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  • Not afraid of heights (for occasional access point checks, if required)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic understanding of networking equipment (switches, firewalls, access points)
  • CompTIA A+ or similar certification
  • Experience operating a scissor lift or cherry picker (or willingness to be trained) to assist with high-level warehouse access points
  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Exposure to WMS, ERP, or operational systems
