Job description

  • Monitor security and operational systems for alerts, incidents, and equipment issues
  • Respond to unauthorized access attempts, tampering events, and system notifications
  • Perform basic remote troubleshooting and diagnostic activities
  • Coordinate third-party vendor dispatches for repairs and maintenance
  • Collaborate with internal operations and support teams to resolve issues
  • Document incidents, actions taken, and status updates within company systems
  • Follow established procedures, escalation processes, and service standards
  • Help ensure critical operational systems remain secure and functional, * Build experience in monitoring, incident response, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting

Requirements

We are actively recruiting a Security and Systems Support Technician for our client in Knoxville, TN. This is a contract opportunity that will require onsite work in Knoxville on a full-time, shift-based schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building experience in security operations, monitoring, technical support, dispatch coordination, or operational technology environments. Must have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, reliability, and the ability to learn new systems and technologies.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently during evening or overnight shifts
  • Reliable attendance and strong sense of accountability
  • Comfortable learning and using new technologies, software, and monitoring platforms, * Help Desk or Technical Support experience
  • Network Operations Center (NOC) or Operations Center experience
  • Security monitoring or alarm monitoring experience
  • Surveillance or security systems experience
  • Dispatch, coordination, or incident management experience
  • Access control or badge management system experience
  • Military, law enforcement, or security-related background
