Strategic Vision & Enterprise Integration
- Partner with executives to define and advance enterprise transformation priorities, weaving entity-level plans into a cohesive system roadmap that drives competitive advantage.
- Shape governance structures and decision-making processes that accelerate execution and embed operational excellence across the organization.
- Translate industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices into actionable strategies that elevate system-wide performance and position Henry Ford Health as an industry leader.
Executive Thought Partnership & Business Impact
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders, providing data-driven insights and recommendations that inform critical business decisions and shape enterprise direction.
- Validate and strengthen enterprise business cases and ROI models, ensuring alignment with financial, operational, and strategic priorities.
- Benchmark against industry leaders and introduce innovative approaches that drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and financial performance.
Transformation Execution & Problem-Solving
- Guide execution of enterprise-level initiatives by identifying interdependencies, mitigating systemic risks, and ensuring coordinated delivery across regions and service lines.
- Coach teams in applying Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and continuous improvement methodologies to solve complex organizational challenges and sustain results.
- Translate sophisticated analyses into clear, actionable insights that inform strategy and enable faster, smarter decision-making at all levels.
- Support governance processes that monitor portfolio impact, sustain improvements, and reinforce accountability for operational excellence.
Change Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead organizational change by building trusted relationships with executives, department leaders, and external partners, and engaging them through transparent communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Design and champion change management strategies that enable successful adoption of new technologies, tools, and practices-driving efficiency gains and performance improvements.
- Empower teams to embrace change by providing guidance, resources, and shared learning opportunities that build confidence and ownership.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration that breaks down silos and advances enterprise-first outcomes.
Mentorship & Capability Development
- Mentor consultants and peers, strengthening transformation capabilities across the system and developing the next generation of leaders.
- Model intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and continuous learning-fostering a culture of innovation and improvement throughout the organization.
- Expand team perspectives beyond local priorities, cultivating enterprise-first thinking that drives systemic value.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A degree in industrial or related engineering, nursing, business administration (with quality/operations improvement emphasis), healthcare administration (with quality/operations improvement emphasis), organizational development, human factors, a science degree in a related field, or similar field is preferred.
- 6+ years progressively more responsible experience in project management, industrial engineering, healthcare administration or other related field required.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and other CI methodologies, with demonstrated success applying them at scale in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and executive advising skills, with the ability to translate analysis into insights that shape system-level decisions.
- Track record of advancing operational excellence at the enterprise level, including aligning value streams, embedding governance, and sustaining system-wide improvements.
Additional Preferences:
- Experience applying problem solving approaches.
- Solid foundation and growing base of analytical/technical, facilitative, and process improvement tools/knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of effective data gathering techniques.
