Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer IV with architect-level knowledge of Palantir Foundry. This position will support security-related development and remediation across the Foundry platform while providing senior technical expertise for platform architecture, integrations, APIs, and data-engineering solutions.

The successful candidate must have deep, hands-on Foundry development experience and be able to operate independently from the beginning of the engagement. This is not an opportunity for someone requiring Foundry training or relying primarily on experience with other data platforms, * At least five years of overall data-engineering or software-engineering experience, with senior or architect-level responsibility.

  • Approximately three to five years of substantive Palantir Foundry development experience, with Level IV candidates expected to demonstrate advanced platform depth.
  • Proven experience architecting or developing production solutions on Palantir Foundry.
  • Strong understanding of Palantir Foundry infrastructure, development capabilities, and security architecture.
  • Advanced Python development experience.
  • Strong API-development and API-integration experience.
  • Experience designing or implementing modern data-engineering platforms and pipelines.
  • Ability to independently make technical and architectural decisions.
  • Ability to begin contributing immediately without extensive Foundry training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • TypeScript development experience.
  • Databricks experience.
  • AWS Glue experience.
  • Broader AWS data-platform experience.
  • Experience securing or remediating vulnerabilities within Palantir Foundry.
  • Experience establishing enterprise data-platform architecture.
  • Banking or financial-services experience
