The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to design and implement high-performance data solutions, primarily leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies. You will be instrumental in guiding businesses through their data transformation journeys, helping them make informed, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data engineering solutions using tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Fabric.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data strategies.
- Support data governance, architecture, and best practices to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience working with both cloud-based and on-premises relational databases.
- A solid grasp of data governance, data modeling, and business intelligence best practices.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, Git, APIs, microservices, and data pipeline development.
- Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, or Snowflake is a plus.
Desirable Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
