Denodo Developer

The Denodo Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop virtual data integration solutions, analyze and optimize existing integration queries and views, proactively troubleshoot long-running queries, and develop monitoring processes for the Denodo Platform. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining thorough functional and technical documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Denodo Developer to design, develop, support, and optimize virtual data integration solutions using the Denodo Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development and data integration experience, with a solid understanding of data modeling, query optimization, data quality, and performance troubleshooting., * 4+ years of SQL experience working with OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data databases.

• 4+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or SQL Developer.
• 2+ years of experience writing medium to complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Denodo.
• Strong experience with SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience developing and supporting REST and SOAP API data services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to data quality and performance issues.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience using Jira or similar ticketing/project management tools.
• Experience with GitLab or other code versioning tools.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling concepts.
• Strong understanding of data integrity concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to ETL tools, particularly:
• Informatica
• Ab Initio
• Previous experience with Python development.
• Previous experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools.
• Big Data experience with technologies such as:
• Hadoop
• MongoDB
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Postgres.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms and cloud-based data environments.
• Experience with enterprise data integration and virtualization solutions.
• Experience supporting high-volume and complex data environments.
