Job description

I have an immediate need for a Support Analyst to work for my client in Central Stockport (within 5 mins walk of the train station).

Role Snapshot:

IT is the central point of contact for all Technical related incidents and service requests. IT is a dynamic, fast-paced environment which provides services over the phone, through e-mail, phone, in person (for walk-up customers) and self-service.

A great chance to build skills and work with new technologies working with the IT Manager to improve efficiencies and performance across the group structure.

Responsibilities:

  • The role of the IT Support Technician is to provide Infrastructure implementation support, working across the Group. The IT Support Technician will also be assisting in resolving support requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands in both offices and remote users.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required

Experience/Skills:

  • Windows Desktop 7, 10
  • Exchange O365
  • Active Directory
  • LAN & WAN support
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Configuration and installation of desktop systems and software
  • Knowledge of networking principles and able to troubleshoot network/user connectivity issues.
  • Awareness of ITIL principles across incident, problem and change management processes

Personal Qualities and Skills

  • A professional attitude and approach to all work-related tasks.
  • Excellent problem solver.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to effectively prioritise work load.
  • Desire to learn new techniques and skills.
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Travel to satellite offices when required by the business
