Overview

Consultant at Saragossa - Creating competitive advantage for investment technology organisations. Low Latency Linux Engineer - Optimise low-latency trading infrastructure for an HFT trading firm and bridge the gap between Application and Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Push systems to the edge of performance by optimising low-latency trading infrastructure.
  • Optimise RHEL at kernel level, tune CPUs and memory.
  • Build tooling in Python, Java or Go to support performance objectives.
  • Deliver microsecond execution for trading platforms.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Low Latency Linux Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of RHEL kernel-level optimization, CPU and memory tuning.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java or Go.
  • Experience with high-frequency trading infrastructure is desirable.
