Job description

Hull 3 days a week in the office (On-Site car parking)

Up to £70,000 + Bonus

A business operating large-scale digital platforms within the automotive sector is looking for a Platform Engineer to join its CloudOps team.

The role sits within a team responsible for maintaining and improving the cloud infrastructure that supports high-traffic e-commerce platforms. Work will include supporting a major platform relaunch, improving platform reliability, and helping deliver new international environments as the business continues to expand.

This position offers a mix of platform operations, infrastructure automation, and delivery of new cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Support the relaunch of a large automotive e-commerce platform
Build and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure
Deliver new cloud environments for international platform rollouts
Improve platform reliability, automation, and deployment processes

Technology Environment

AWS
Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
Observability tooling (logging, metrics, alerting)

Experience Required

Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production environments
Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure (Azure experience also considered)
Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools
