QAT Analyst

Job Overview

Our client is hiring QA Analysts for a 12-month initial contract. The role is hybrid, based at one of the following sites: Newcastle, London, Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool or Sheffield.

This position is Inside IR35 and requires active security clearance (SC). Candidates who have and/or have held high-level security clearance are especially welcome.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Experience testing modern web applications built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Strong experience in unit testing, TDD, and BDD practices (Gherkin style).
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into build processes.
• Strong understanding of testing lifecycle including test design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and applying shift-left testing principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience identifying risks and applying context-driven testing approaches.
• Demonstrable experience with modern programming or scripting languages.

Security Clearance
