The Opportunity:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Shaping the architecture strategy across multiple platforms, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions
• Designing and optimising cloud-native applications with a focus on high availability and cost efficiency
• Leading technical decision-making, balancing innovation with commercial value
• Collaborating with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless, data-driven customer experiences
• Keeping us ahead of the curve, staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Contributing to our engineering culture, whether through mentorship, open-source engagement, blogs, or meetups

The details:

• Manchester

  Hybrid (2 days a week onsite)

• Up to £95k + Bonus
• Must be based in the UK without visa or sponsorship requirements

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Principal Engineer in large-scale environments
• Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and RESTful APIs
• Ability to turn complex business needs into scalable, high-performing solutions
• Strong leadership and communication skills, comfortable engaging with engineers and business leaders alike
