Job description

We are seeking an experienced GIS Tech Lead to design, develop, and manage enterprise GIS solutions. The ideal candidate will lead GIS application development, spatial data management, cloud-based GIS architecture, and technical delivery for geospatial projects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring GIS developers/analysts, and ensuring scalable and high-performance GIS systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: o GIS o Geoinformatics o Computer Science o Civil Engineering o Geography o Remote Sensing o Related field

Technical Skills

Strong experience with: o ArcGIS Enterprise o ArcGIS Pro o QGIS
Knowledge of: o Spatial databases: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server o Web GIS technologies: JavaScript, REST APIs, GeoServer o Python scripting and automation o Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform o GIS web frameworks and map services o Remote sensing and spatial analysis concepts
Familiarity with: o GPS and survey data o CAD-GIS integration o ETL tools such as FME o DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, * 7-12+ years of GIS industry experience
3-5+ years in technical leadership or solution architecture roles
Experience delivering enterprise-scale GIS projects
Utility, telecom, smart city, transportation, oil & gas, or government domain experience preferred
