Job description

We are seeking an experienced GIS Tech Lead to design, develop, and manage enterprise GIS solutions. The ideal candidate will lead GIS application development, spatial data management, cloud-based GIS architecture, and technical delivery for geospatial projects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring GIS developers/analysts, and ensuring scalable and high-performance GIS systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
GIS
Geoinformatics
Computer Science
Civil Engineering
Geography
Remote Sensing
Related field

Technical Skills

Strong experience with:
ArcGIS Enterprise
ArcGIS Pro
QGIS

Knowledge of:

Spatial databases: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server
Web GIS technologies: JavaScript, REST APIs, GeoServer
Python scripting and automation
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
GIS web frameworks and map services
Remote sensing and spatial analysis concepts

Familiarity with:

GPS and survey data
CAD-GIS integration
ETL tools such as FME
DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, * 7-12+ years of GIS industry experience
3-5+ years in technical leadership or solution architecture roles
Experience delivering enterprise-scale GIS projects
Utility, telecom, smart city, transportation, oil & gas, or government domain experience preferred
