Cloud Architect (Azure)

We’re partnered with an insurance business to support them in recruiting a Cloud Architect to shape and deliver end-to-end solutions across on-premises and Azure environments. The role focuses on defining, developing and governing application architecture, and contributing to wider enterprise domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and integration across on-prem and Azure platforms.
• Own and evolve the Application Architecture domain, supporting Business, Data, Technology and Security domains.
• Assess new/third-party technologies, including cost, risk, gap analysis and PoCs.
• Ensure applications are well-modelled across process, people and technology, identifying unnecessary complexity.

Skills Required

• Experience delivering complex, enterprise-level solutions (including third-party integrations).
• Strong technical awareness across application, data and cloud (Azure) architectures.
• Confident engaging and challenging senior stakeholders; resilient and influential.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in the client’s Leeds office.
