Job description
- Lead troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of complex enterprise network issues across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network boundary environments.
- Configure, maintain, and support routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, sensors, VLANs, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Serve as a Tier III escalation point and Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting large-scale enterprise network operations and engineering teams.
- Develop Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs), perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), manage change requests, and support configuration management processes.
- Conduct lab validation and pre-production testing of firmware upgrades, security patches, and network configuration changes while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise network engineering, operations, and troubleshooting environments.
- Experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN, network boundary engineering, routing, switching, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPNs, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, multicast, firewalls, and network security technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, configuration management, change management, root cause analysis, Agile/SAFe, and JIRA experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret security clearance required with the ability to obtain Top Secret eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification required (CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent).
- Network vendor certification required, such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
- Ability to support on-call rotations and travel up to 10%.

- Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually depending on experience
