Job description

CoreWeave is seeking a Security Engineer to spearhead the resiliency efforts related to the design, development, and maintenance of our rapidly expanding global physical security network. This role is built for a technical owner with deep expertise in enterprise access control, video surveillance systems, and the mission-critical infrastructure that powers them. They will lead the charge in ensuring all of our systems, supporting infrastructure, and dependencies are connected together with resilience built into them from the beginning.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of sophisticated networking skills, a mastery of the Genetec Security Center ecosystem, a proven ability to integrate complex third-party systems within Azure or GCP environments, and an understanding of resilience best practices and how to deploy them at scale. We are looking for a collaborative, customer-centric engineer who pairs technical administration expertise with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and results.

This role is based out of any of our hub locations. The position requires up to 20% travel - including international assignments for on-site project execution-and flexibility for after-hours support to ensure the resiliency of our global operations. About the Role

  • Support the configuration and hardening of CoreWeave’s hardware and software infrastructure for security operations, ensuring alignment with published standards and industry best practices.
  • Support technical root cause analysis for system outages or performance degradation, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Create, Uphold and maintain change management processes, ensuring all system modifications are meticulously documented, tested, and approved.
  • Monitor system health and perform checks to ensure the integrity of hardware, server resources, and peripheral security systems.
  • Architect and deploy scalable failover solutions within the Genetec Security Center to ensure 99.99% system availability and data redundancy across all data center facilities.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and health-check automation for security infrastructure to identify and remediate potential vulnerabilities or system bottlenecks before they impact operational continuity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Physical Security Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related technical infrastructure role
  • Advanced expertise in the Genetec Security Center platform, including Directory, Archiver, and Synergis roles, as well as failover configurations and API/SDK integrations
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, including deployment, maintenance, and system hardening
  • Strong understanding of resiliency best practices and designs to support external audit requirements (ISO 22301, ISO 22237, ISO 27001, SOC2)
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs) and SQL databases, including data integrity management and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience integrating third-party systems and deploying field solutions in collaboration with external vendors
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and follow-through
