Job description
We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our client’s growing IT team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to implement test automation strategies, enhance software quality, and support Agile delivery.
This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on testing experience, expertise in automation, and a passion for continuously improving software testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Windows, Web, API, and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to define and implement effective testing strategies.
- Identify and document test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Report and track bugs, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Implement and optimize test automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and SpecFlow.
- Support the adoption of Agile (SCRUM) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD integration.
- Continuously improve test automation coverage and processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
- Hands-on experience writing automated tests in C#.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or similar test automation tools.
- Experience testing APIs and mobile applications (Android preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and DevOps practices (CI/CD).
- ISTQB certification or equivalent software testing qualification.
A bonus would be
- Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) using SpecFlow.
- Hands-on testing of .NET applications and SQL databases.
