Job description

We’re seeking a highly organised Workday Project Manager for a 12-month period. You’ll be responsible for leading the implementation of technology and tools to support both the Strategic Workforce Planning and Skills mobilisation in Workday across AXA UK. You’ll be ensure project success by aligning with existing systems, managing change, and delivering value to the organisation., * Lead the end-to-end delivery of Workday implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Coordinate resources, manage project teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate user adoption and minimise resistance.
  • Create and deliver communication and training plans to prepare the organisation for new systems and processes.
  • Support post-implementation activities, including user support, engagement, and ongoing adoption.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems like Workday.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex projects with Workday implementations or upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as PMI (Project Management Institute), Prince2, or Agile.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Workday modules like Skills, Adaptive Planning, Talent, and Core HCM.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement change management and communication strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and lead diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret project data and metrics.
  • Resilience and adaptability to manage change in dynamic environments., As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
