Java Software Engineer - Hedge Fund

I’m working with an elite hedge fund in London hiring a strong Java Developer to join their engineering team.

They need a strong Java engineer to help build and maintain the systems that underpin the firm’s trading and research operations.

What you’ll be working on:

• Developing core systems that support trading and research
• Owning features end-to-end, from design to deployment
• Collaborating with traders, quants, and engineers
• Improving performance, reliability, and code quality

What they’re looking for:

• Solid grasp of distributed systems and software design
• Financial services experience essential - ideally across Equities, Futures or FX
• Sharp problem-solver who takes ownership
• Strong academic background a plus
