Job description

A well-established quantitative trading firm is hiring a Java Software Engineer to join the team responsible for their proprietary trading and execution platform. The firm operates across algorithmic execution and systematic investing, serving institutional clients globally. What you’ll do:

  • Work directly with execution brokers to improve algorithmic performance, incorporating research feedback and coordinating A/B testing
  • Onboard new execution brokers and implement approved execution enhancements
  • Build, maintain, and improve Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) reporting
  • Contribute to the architectural evolution of the platform alongside a senior engineering team
  • Participate in the production support rota

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development experience, with strong Java skills
  • Prior experience in execution systems at a bank, hedge fund, or financial services firm
  • Exposure to equities trading or related markets
  • Degree in a STEM discipline

Bonus:
