Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining deployment pipelines, ensuring the systems are robust, scalable, and secure. This is a perfect opportunity for a skilled professional with a background in software engineering and a keen interest in transitioning to DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Write and maintain scripts in Python and PowerShell to automate tasks.
- Configure and manage cloud services in Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Create and manage configuration files using YAML.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise system reliability and performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Pulumi and Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
- Experience with YAML for configuration management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Previous experience in a DevOps or Software Engineering role.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Certification in relevant cloud and DevOps technologies (e.g., Azure Certifications).
