Cybersecurity Engineer: Network Security & Automation

Experteer Overview In this role you will help protect and automate global web applications by strengthening network and security controls.You will collaborate with application, network, cloud, DevOps, and security teams to onboard applications, analyze traffic, and automate processes to scale secure services.You’ll troubleshoot HTTP/S, DNS, and TLS issues while tuning configurations to minimize false positives.This position offers hybrid/remote work and a path to grow in security engineering and automation.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Support and improve global web application protection services including configuration and lifecycle activities * Troubleshoot and address issues related to HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, reverse proxy, and connectivity * Assist onboarding of web applications into security protections by validating prerequisites and coordinating implementation * Analyze logs, traffic, alerts, and security events to identify anomalies and potential attacks * Tune security configurations to balance protection and false positives * Develop and maintain scripts, tools, API integrations, templates, and automation workflows * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance secure-by-design practices * Serve as escalation point for L1/L2 technical support with guidance and documentation * Contribute to process improvement, automation, and operational excellence * Stay up-to-date with new technologies and automation opportunities to improve the service Responsabilidades * 3 to 6 years in cybersecurity, network security, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, automation, or application security roles * Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, routing, proxies, load balancing, and connectivity troubleshooting * Experience with security technologies (WAF, network security, cloud security, application security, or perimeter protection) * Scripting or development experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript) * Experience with APIs, automation workflows, or technical integrations * Ability to analyze logs and traffic patterns to troubleshoot issues * Basic knowledge of web application architectures and exposure/routing/protection mechanisms * Understanding of OWASP Top 10, API security, bot activity, and application-layer attacks * Ability to translate requirements to configurations, scripts, or documentation * Proficient written and spoken English * Proactive mindset and willingness to learn Requisitos principales * health insurance * flexible compensation * meal allowance * pension plan * sport support * remote working allowance
