Job description
The role of the Product Owner, Software is to maximize value of the product being delivered by the Scrum Team.
You will report to the Software and DevSecOps Engineering Manager and will work a hybrid schedule based in Mequon, Wisconsin. Your Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more Team backlogs that are thoughtful, visible, and the âsingle source of truthâ. Work flowed to your Team will typically originate from multiple products.
- Define backlog items, including clear and concise acceptance criteria.
- Define and communicate an inspiring vision of what the backlog items will provide when integrated together.
- Prioritize backlog items and optimize their flow to multiple Teams, especially in preparation of both recurring PI Planning events and proposed system-level products âdue datesâ.
- Track the Sprint-by-Sprint goals and PI-by-PI objectives, in support of quality and on-time Releases, typically at Sprint or PI boundaries.
- Ensure the Teams understand the required intent of backlog items.
- Enable Team Members to effectively showcase the most critical components of the developed product to relevant Stakeholders.
- Enable Team Members to practice lean development by reducing waste and planning infrastructure and maintenance stories.
- Work effectively with the Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Product Manager, Scrum Team Members, and all applicable Stakeholders relating to tools, process, techniques, and relationships.
- Comprehend blocking items that prevent planned work from being completed, then navigate contingency planning of secondary priorities and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Significant experience with Rockwell Drives and other Rockwell products.
- Significant experience in the industrial automation industry.
- Experience in Software development.
- Familiarity with C#, Angular, .NET MAUI, C++, WPF, MFC, and Xamarin.
- Experience in SAFe, with POPM certification.
- A mentoring and advisory role in Scrum, with PSPO certification.
