Job description
We are seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join a growing technology team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer looking to build their skills in a modern Microsoft technology environment while working on business-critical applications, data platforms, dashboards, and reporting solutions. Working within a collaborative development team, you will help design, build, and maintain web-based products that deliver data and insights to stakeholders across the business. Role & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web-based applications, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Develop and enhance internal and client-facing data products
- Write and optimise SQL queries and support data management activities
- Assist with the development and maintenance of bespoke software solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
- Support data integrity, application performance, and ongoing improvements
- Work closely with colleagues across international teams to deliver consistent technology solutions
Requirements
- Experience with a strongly typed programming language such as C#, Java, or TypeScript
- SQL experience, including writing complex queries and working with relational databases
- Understanding of HTML and CSS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to development
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
- Experience with Blazor or .NET technologies
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure services
- Microsoft Fabric experience
- Python for data processing and visualisation
- Understanding of UI/UX and modern web design principles
- STEM-related degree or equivalent technical background
