Job description

Here at Northumbrian Water Group, we have an exciting new opportunity for an Asset Systems Team Leader role within our Asset Data team.

In this role, you will lead the Content Asset Systems Team ensuring the delivery of accurate, trusted, and well-governed asset information across corporate systems. The role is responsible for maintaining data quality, driving continuous improvement, and supporting business operations through effective management of asset system content and processes.

You will ensure asset information and data is accurate, accessible, complete, and maintained to support operational, regulatory, and investment decision-making and drive improvements to asset system content, data processes, and controls to enhance business efficiency and data reliability.

You will lead a high-performing content team, supporting and developing others to achieve their potential, while building strong relationships across the business to support effective asset information management.

Requirements

If you have experience managing asset information, data governance, or asset management systems within a utility, infrastructure, or asset-intensive environment, we would love to hear from you!

You will be able to lead, develop, and motivate a technical or data-focused team, and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

You will have a strong understanding of asset data quality principles, standards, governance, and lifecycle management and have experience maintaining asset hierarchies, metadata, and information structures within corporate systems. You will also have experience developing and documenting business processes, procedures, and controls with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.
