Job description
A leading global quantitative investment firm is looking for a Quantitative Developer to join a highly collaborative team working at the intersection of software engineering, data, and quantitative research.
This is an opportunity to build technology that directly supports systematic trading strategies, working alongside quantitative researchers and traders to develop analytical tools, process large datasets, and help uncover new investment opportunities.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with quantitative researchers and traders to build reporting, analytics, and software tools that support research and trading workflows.
- Explore, evaluate, and integrate alternative datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Python applications that support critical business functions.
- Build scalable solutions for data analysis, visualization, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate across research, engineering, and trading teams to deliver impactful technology.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong Python development skills with solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-quality Python applications.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Nice to have
- Experience within financial markets, quantitative trading, or a hedge fund environment.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience building dashboards or working with data visualization tools.
