Job description
The Software Quality Assurnace Engineer creates test strategies, test plans, test results, and quality metrics for complex data integration solutions and enrollment applications on our platform. The Quality Assurance Tester works with Business Analysts and the HPS Web Portal system analysts providing support to staff members in the use and management of the HPS Web Application.
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer position also provides technical support to customers by telephone and email, answering questions on functionality and usage of the HPS products as well as products used by HPS personnel.
Responsibilities:
· Review, test and document enhancements to the Web Application.
· Publish training and operational documents for the Web Application.
· Answer, log, and track internal and external customer calls and emails.
· Research and resolve technical problems and provide solutions to customers.
· Track and monitor support issues to ensure a timely resolution.
· The ideal candidate will learn our products, assist in the development of documentation and application testing.
· Provide customer support reports to management to ensure awareness of call volumes and call types.
· Resolves clients’ application questions or problems over the telephone and via email in the areas of system configuration/setup as it relates to the HPS product
· Research and report possible bugs/enhancements to include appropriate referral to other service areas, follow-up, testing and troubleshooting.
· Participate in internal projects as required by management. This includes projects such as internal applications support, interdepartmental communications, etc.
· Administrative services such as updating spreadsheets, data entry, providing daily updates of activities, and attending weekly team calls
· Develop strong working relationship with business and systems analysts and coordinate work statements and modifications between in-house programmers, developers and clients.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test automation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, A Positive, Customer-Focused attitude is critical!
· Position requires a Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent.
· Work experience related to the job summary and responsibilities.
· Prior technical support/IT experience in a technical environment a plus.
· Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently or as a part of a team environment.
· Proficient PC skills with expert knowledge of various software applications used in a business environment (MS Office, Internet, Exchange/Outlook, etc.).
Additional Skills:
· Ability to quickly become familiar with and maintain existing applications.
· Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
· Experience generating and maintaining technical documentation.
· Ability to independently document, write, and test programs.
· Ability to produce finished applications under deadline.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team., * Bachelor’s (Required)

- SQL: 1 year (Required)
