Software Development Lead (Audio Technology)

£50,000 - £55,000 + Progression + Training + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Discounts + Company Benefits

Northampton

Are you passionate about music and the surrounding technology and are looking to work for an industry leading company that has supplied products to bands such as Manic Street Preachers, Whitesnake and Def Leppard? Do you have experience as a Software Development Lead and are now looking to join an exciting music technology company where you will be leading the development of innovative software and firmware products used by musicians across the world?

The company has been designing world-class guitar amplification products since 2004 and has become a globally recognised innovator within the music technology industry working with musicians such as Ocean Colour Scene, OzzyOsbourne and Journey.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop the software development team
  • Drive the research, specification and development of innovative software and digital products
  • Oversee scalable software and embedded firmware development using structured development processes
  • Plan team workloads and communicate project progress to key stakeholders
  • Maintain software development best practices, documentation and quality standards
  • Manage software development projects and coordinate with OEM partners

Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial software development
  • Experience with Agile Scrum and sprint planning
  • Experience with JUCE framework
