Data Scientist

We are looking for experienced Data Scientists to join an enterprise AI and knowledge transformation programme. You will be responsible for designing and optimising the enterprise knowledge layer, enabling business information to be effectively discovered, understood and consumed by AI agents., * Design and optimise enterprise knowledge and retrieval capabilities.

• Develop and improve taxonomy and semantic models to support enterprise search.
• Apply metadata enrichment techniques to improve knowledge discovery.
• Develop and optimise semantic retrieval and search relevance.
• Work with embedding models and other AI techniques to improve information retrieval.
• Apply query understanding and prompt engineering techniques.
• Develop approaches for evaluating and benchmarking AI and search performance.
• Analyse data and retrieval results to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and data teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Use data-driven approaches to assess the quality and relevance of enterprise knowledge.

• Strong experience in Data Science, ideally within AI, search or knowledge-based environments.
• Information Retrieval (IR).
• Embedding models.
• Semantic search and ranking.
• Query understanding.
• Prompt engineering.
• AI evaluation and benchmarking.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Python and SQL.
