Job description

The Enterprise Solutions Architect is building executive technology confidence and demonstrating architectural alignment between U.S. Bank’s payment platforms and the customer’s long-term technology vision. Serves as U.S. Bank’s senior technology advisor for the largest and most strategic enterprise payment opportunities. Engages CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Enterprise Architects, and Digital Transformation leaders to build confidence in U.S. Bank’s technology platform, security posture, resiliency, scalability, and long-term technology vision. Working across Merchant Services, Treasury Management, and other sales organizations, this individual helps customers understand how U.S. Bank’s payment, treasury, and embedded finance capabilities align with their enterprise architecture, digital transformation initiatives, omnichannel commerce strategies, and modernization roadmaps. The role combines executive engagement, technology strategy, payments expertise, and solution positioning to accelerate strategic sales opportunities and strengthen U.S. Bank’s position as a trusted technology partner

Requirements

  • 12 years of experience in enterprise technology, payments, enterprise architecture, consulting, solution strategy, or technology leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in payment processing, merchant acquiring, gateways, omnichannel commerce, embedded finance, and enterprise payment ecosystems.
  • Experience engaging CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Enterprise Architects, and other senior technology stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Cloud architecture
  • API ecosystems
  • Enterprise integration patterns
  • Security architecture
  • Platform resiliency
  • Scalability principles
  • PCI compliance
  • Tokenization
  • Data governance
  • Experience supporting large enterprise organizations within Hospitality, Retail, Restaurant, and Public Sector verticals.
  • Strong executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into strategic business value.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $152,370.00 - 186,230.00
