FPGA Engineer contract role at Farnborough based organisation.

  • Outside IR35 contract paying up to £650 per day

Due to continued programme demand, they are looking to engage an experienced FPGA Engineer to support critical project delivery.

THE FPGA ENGINEER ROLE

As an FPGA Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and verification of FPGA based solutions supporting secure and safety-critical systems. You will work closely with systems, hardware, and software engineers to deliver robust designs from concept through to integration and test. The role will involve contributing to architecture decisions, implementing high-quality RTL, and supporting verification and documentation activities in line with rigorous engineering standards.

FPGA ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Proven experience as an FPGA Engineer in a defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated environment
  • Strong FPGA design experience using VHDL and/or Verilog
  • Experience with FPGA toolchains from vendors such as Xilinx or Intel
  • Understanding of verification, test, and debugging of FPGA designs
  • Ability to work with requirements, design documentation, and engineering standards
  • Active SC or DV clearance required for project
