Job description

Compensation

$125K

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and configure API proxies, security policies, and traffic rules in Apigee.
  • Manage API Marketplace platforms for discovery and developer self-service.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Implement threat protection, rate limiting, and encryption standards.
  • Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.
  • Partner with application teams on API contracts and architectural best practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including API specs and portal content.

What You’ll Need to be Considered

  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud’s Apigee platform specifically.
  • Experience setting up or managing an API Marketplace or Developer Portal.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Crossplane, Terraform, or Pulumi.
  • Expert-level command of API security standards, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and TLS.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud’s Apigee platform specifically.
