They work closely with customers to modernise services, improve operational efficiency, and deliver impactful technology programmes across a range of government and public service environments.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join a highly collaborative consulting team. This is a client-facing role suited to an individual who combines strong technical architecture expertise with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the full architecture lifecycle, supporting customers from discovery and solution design through to delivery and adoption. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be expected to roll your sleeves up, contribute to pre-sales activities, lead client demonstrations, and work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
The role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days per week onsite with clients or at company offices.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture activities across the full project lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation.
- Design and deliver scalable cloud-based solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, facilitating workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Work across multiple client projects simultaneously, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance.
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution shaping, proposals, and client demonstrations.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure architectural best practices are followed.
- Drive successful implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) solutions, with a particular focus on customer-facing capabilities.
- Provide hands-on involvement in technical delivery where required.
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with customer objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a client-facing Technical Architect position.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrable experience across the full architecture lifecycle.
- Ability to manage and contribute across multiple projects concurrently.
- Previous experience delivering solutions within the Public Sector.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), including solution architecture and implementation.
- Strong D365 Customer Service module experience.
- Experience delivering and designing D365 solutions in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to D365 Field Service would be highly advantageous.
- Background in .NET development would be beneficial, although not essential.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity, supporting delivery as well as architecture.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, client demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working within complex digital transformation programmes.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications across Azure and/or D365.
