Job description
As a Junior Digital Analyst, you’ll help colleagues across the business make better decisions through data. Working with website and audience performance data across a large portfolio of digital brands, you’ll provide reporting, insights and analysis that help teams understand what’s working, identify opportunities and improve results. Working closely with stakeholders across editorial, marketing, commercial and digital teams, you’ll play an important role in making digital data accessible, meaningful and actionable. What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing regular reporting and insights to help stakeholders understand website performance, audience behaviour and marketing effectiveness
- Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for analytics queries, helping colleagues interpret data and answer business questions
- Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, audience segments and performance metrics across analytics platforms
- Investigating data and measurement issues, identifying root causes and helping to resolve them with relevant teams
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements and deliver meaningful insights
- Supporting the accuracy, quality and continuous improvement of digital measurement and reporting practices
- Developing your knowledge of analytics tools, technologies and best practices while contributing to ongoing analytics projects and initiatives
Requirements
- A genuine interest in data, analytics and using information to solve problems
- Strong numerical, analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions from data
- The ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, reliable work
- Confidence building relationships and working with stakeholders across different teams and functions
- Familiarity with web analytics or reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar platforms, gained through work experience, education or personal projects would be advantageous, * Adobe Analytics
