Job description

This is a hands-on Digital Analyst position with a strong focus on GA4, GTM and digital analytics. You will support product teams across a variety of functions, as well as marketing, acquisition and CRO teams. You’ll use digital data to identify opportunities, make recommendations and help improve digital experiences and conversion. This is not a pure GTM implementation role; they are looking for a well-rounded Digital Analyst who is comfortable with both tracking and analysis.

You will:

  • Analyse website and app data to identify customer and commercial opportunities.
  • Support product teams with insight that feeds into development roadmaps and optimisation programmes.
  • Work with marketing and acquisition teams to understand digital performance.
  • Support the CRO team with analytics and make recommendations to improve conversion.
  • Identify opportunities for testing and experimentation.
  • Manage and maintain tracking through Google Tag Manager.
  • Work with data layers, tags, triggers and custom variables.
  • Support Google Analytics 4 and wider digital measurement.
  • Identify and troubleshoot tagging and data quality issues.
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
  • Work across multiple datasets and projects, prioritising work according to business requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on Google Analytics 4 experience.
  • Good experience with Google Tag Manager, including tags, triggers, custom variables and data layers.
  • Proven experience in digital / web analytics.
  • Ability to turn digital behaviour into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with product, marketing, acquisition or CRO teams.
  • Good understanding of conversion optimisation and digital customer journeys.
  • Looker Studio experience would be beneficial.
  • Power BI is also relevant.
  • SQL / BigQuery is a nice-to-have rather than essential.
  • Experience with app analytics or digital product analytics would be advantageous.
  • Experience with Mixpanel would be useful.
  • Adobe Analytics experience could also be relevant.

Benefits & conditions

  • £45,000-£55,000
