Ai Forward Deployed Engineer

Overview

I am currently partnering with a world-leading AI software business that is fundamentally changing how developers build and deploy autonomous agents. They are looking for a highly technical yet conversational AI Forward Deployed Engineer to join their London team.

This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of product engineering and customer success, working directly with some of the most innovative engineering teams in the world to help them build production-grade AI workflows.

The Role

• You will act as the technical lead on client engagements, helping them design, build, and fine-tune complex AI agents and LLM-driven applications.
• You will bridge the gap between technical possibilities and business value, leading workshops to scope out high-impact AI solutions.
• You will work closely with internal product and research teams to feed back customer insights, directly influencing the roadmap of the core software platform.
• Permanent
• £120,000 - £160,000 base salary + bonus and benefits
• Hybrid working (London-based office)

What we are looking for

• Deep AI technical ability: You should be comfortable building and fine-tuning LLMs and working with orchestration frameworks.
• Customer Facing experience: You must be able to hold your own in a room with CTOs and lead engineers, translating complex AI research into practical solutions.
• Strong Coding Skills: Proficiency in Python or TypeScript is essential for building end-to-end AI workflows.
