A market-leading technology company that produces world-class software is looking for an ambitious Graduate Developer to join their team as a Delphi Developer. The role

This is a hands-on graduate position where you’ll work on software that streamlines the logistics surrounding pharmaceuticals used in clinical settings. You’ll be involved in feature development, bug fixes, testing and helping push improvements through the delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the team with development of new features and maintenance of existing Delphi-based systems.
  • Designing and testing our systems for nuclear medicine.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests; help improve automated test coverage.
  • Take part in code reviews, pair programming and continuous improvement activities.
  • Contribute to CI/CD and build processes where possible and learn about release pipelines.
  • Update and maintain technical documentation and the team knowledge base.
  • Other duties to support the development and operations teams as required.

Skills & experience

  • Previous understanding of Delphi.
  • Write new and improve existing code.
  • Curious, methodical problem-solver with a can-do attitude and good communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a small team and following documented processes.
  • Interest in CI/CD, automated testing and improving delivery quality is desirable.

Benefits (summary)

  • Holiday: 24 days + 8 bank holidays + 1 additional day at Christmas.
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Mon-Fri (1 hour lunch).
