Overview

We are hiring Experienced Backend Java Developers at Citi Belfast. The role ranges from Assistant Vice President to Senior Vice President and focuses on contributing to, and in some cases leading, application systems development, analysis, and programming activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend Java applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, implement, and optimize backend services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Core Java (all editions).
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end application lifecycle.
  • Experience with enterprise development practices and tools.
  • For more senior levels, proven leadership and mentoring experience.
