• Strong commercial experience supporting enterprise Microsoft Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and delivery of hybrid platform and infrastructure changes.
• Drive Azure platform modernisation, including migration from legacy Azure Landing Zones.
• Manage and support enterprise Azure services across compute, networking, storage, identity and security.
• Maintain hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises infrastructure.
• Support and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Manage and maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Lead incident resolution, troubleshooting and root cause analysis across hybrid platforms.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security and Engineering teams to deliver platform improvements.
• Produce technical documentation, operational procedures and platform standards.

We are offering a hybrid contract opportunity based in Warwickshire, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote over a 5-month term. We are seeking an experienced Senior Hybrid Platform Engineer / Technical Lead to join a major enterprise customer and help lead the evolution of a complex hybrid platform environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure supported by on-premises infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where we value deep Azure expertise, strong VMware knowledge and proven Terraform experience, and we offer the chance to work on business-critical production environments, platform modernisation and enterprise infrastructure transformation.
