Job description
The Change Manager works within multidisciplinary delivery teams to plan and execute structured change management activity across large-scale transformation programmes. Youâll help embed new ways of working and ensure change lands effectively and sustainably for the people it affects, working closely with senior change leads, programme teams and business stakeholders.
Our Change Managers are âT-shapedâ by design: with expertise in Change Management, and with evolving breadth across Organisational Design and AI.
As a Change Manager, youâll typically be embedded within a large-scale transformation programme, delivering structured change activity such as:
- Digital service transformation: supporting the rollout of new digital services through change impact assessment, training needs analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Regulatory and policy change: embedding new ways of working in response to evolving data, technology and compliance requirements
- Agile transformation: helping organisations adopt agile and product-led ways of working through new governance, team practices and capability building
Requirements
- Experience delivering business change within large, multi-pillar transformation programmes, working effectively across multiple workstreams
- Able to plan and align change activity to programme milestones, releases and deployment waves
Change Impact, Planning & Execution
- Experience conducting structured Change Impact Assessments (CIA) across processes, roles, skills and ways of working
- Able to translate CIA outputs into actionable change interventions, including Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and targeted engagement actions
- Skilled in maintaining integrated change plans aligned to programme delivery
- Experience planning and executing knowledge transfer, including structured knowledge management and effective handover into Managed Services
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Networks
- Able to carry out stakeholder analysis, identifying impact, readiness and key risks
- Skilled in delivering targeted stakeholder engagement strategies
- Experience establishing and managing change networks (e.g. change champions, super users) to drive adoption and two-way engagement
Adoption, Metrics & Benefits
- Able to define and track change and adoption metrics to evidence readiness and sustained adoption
- Skilled in linking change outcomes to measurable benefits, including efficiency, productivity and improved ways of working
- Experience assessing business processes to identify efficiencies and support benefits realisation
How You Work
- Pragmatic and delivery-focused, comfortable operating in complex, ambiguous environments
- A collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across programme and business teams
- Takes ownership and accountability for outcomes, not just delivery of change activity, * Experience producing high-quality change artefacts, including impact assessments, change plans and adoption reporting
- You are certified as a practitioner in a recognised change management framework (e.g. ADKAR, ACMP, CMI, Kotter, Lean Change Management)
- Comfortable using collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira, Miro and Lucid
Desirable Experience
- Experience establishing or working within change networks (change champions, super users)
- Involved in knowledge transfer and handover into Managed Services or BAU support functions
- Worked in the public or private sector on multi-workstream transformation programmes
