Job description

  • Translate business requirements and use cases into enterprise application development tasks.
  • Develop enterprise applications based on technical requirements, design, and architecture principles and standards.
  • Perform unit testing of developed applications.
  • Work with technical leads and architects to transform high- and low-level system designs into technical components.
  • Produce work products and applications that align with system design, business needs, and the project plan.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders throughout development and delivery.
  • Ensure application development and delivery remain aligned with business requirements and project objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • When approved for remote work, attend monthly in-person meetings at the Albany office and major milestone meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Developer
  • 7 years’’ experience in utilizing a variety of technologies and frameworks to achieve project goals, adapting to new tools as necessary with hands-on experience in full stack development using .Net Framework, .Net Core, J2EE, Spring boot, Java, C# or similar modern OO programming language, Web Services, Database, or web application development.
  • More than 5 years’ experience working on complex projects including developing applications using SOA Design patterns, Microservices Containerization using Docker or OpenShift, Databases (including SQL Server, Oracle, and No SQL Databases) and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks and experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies., * More than five (5) years’’ experience in developing responsive web applications with DevSecOps tools and processes (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, SonarQube) to include experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques.
  • More than five (5) years’’ experience in implementing web applications using scripting languages such as Java Script, jQuery, Angular, React; demonstration of solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • One to two years of experience in code reviews, technical documentation, Test Driven Development, and automated testing / unit testing frameworks while maintaining regulatory compliance.
