Job description

The OmniStudio Developer designs, configures, tests, deploys, and supports guided digital experiences for utility customer service and clean-energy program processes. The role is strongly focused on OmniScript and works across Energy & Utilities Cloud, the Clean Energy Module, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, APIs, and core Salesforce capabilities., 1. Build and configure OmniStudio components, with strong emphasis on OmniScript, as well as FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.

  1. Develop guided processes for customer service, account updates, eligibility, clean-energy program enrollment, applications, case management, service requests, and operational workflows.

  2. Translate user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, UI requirements, data mappings, and architecture direction into maintainable OmniStudio solutions.

  3. Configure OmniScripts with conditional logic, validations, reusable actions, dynamic fields, data capture, save and resume, and user-friendly navigation.

  4. Build FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures that access Salesforce and external data while meeting performance and security expectations.

  5. Integrate OmniStudio experiences with Energy & Utilities Cloud, the Clean Energy Module, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, customer APIs, SAP BTP, and downstream systems.

  6. Support accessibility, responsive design, security, performance, unit testing, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and production stabilization.

  7. Follow reusable component, naming, versioning, and documentation standards and participate in design and code reviews.

  8. Use client-provided or client-approved AI acceleration tools when appropriate for analysis, requirements, design, development, documentation, testing, and defect resolution. Independently validate all AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, maintainability, privacy, and compliance.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of Salesforce delivery experience with substantial hands-on OmniStudio implementation experience.

  2. Strong production experience with OmniStudio and OmniScript, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.

  3. Strong understanding of core Salesforce platform capabilities, Service Cloud, data models, security, permissions, declarative automation, testing, and deployment.

  4. Experience integrating OmniStudio with Salesforce objects, APIs, middleware, and external data sources.

  5. Ability to translate user stories and process flows into maintainable guided experiences and independently own assigned features.

  6. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Hands-on Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud implementation experience.

  2. Salesforce Clean Energy Module experience and/or utility customer-service, eligibility, enrollment, or clean-energy program experience.

  3. Salesforce OmniStudio Developer, Energy & Utilities Cloud, Platform Developer, or related credentials; Lightning Web Components, Apex, Experience Cloud, or Salesforce Flow experience is also valued.
