• Ensure that the platform complies with industry security practices and standards, including ISO27001, C5, and SOC2
• Introduce security at every stage of the platform lifecycle
• Understand and mitigate security threats before they arise
• Optimize system scalability and cost efficiency
• Develop, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across several continents
• Develop and maintain CI/CD systems
• Ensure that services are deployed with high availability
• Fix urgent issues and optimize performance
• Support other team members in their daily work
• Develop and maintain tools for Global Security to deliver vulnerability management platforms for application triaging and continuous compliance
• Collaborate with Global Security on platform compliance, risk management, and escalated incidents such as DDoS or abuse cases
• Audit PMS systems, support secure migration to the central platform, and interpret global security and legal requirements in PMS implementations
• Consult the Core Team on technical compliance and networking standards, and resolve platform misconfigurations or vulnerabilities
• Guide Experience Teams on infrastructure-related application security, secure encryption practices, and CSP integrations
• Align platform security with data protection regulations, encryption standards, and locality requirements

• At least 5 years of experience related to security
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and securing container orchestration platforms
• Ability to maintain and develop security-focused CNI/Service Mesh policies, such as Calico or Cilium
• Experience scanning for and managing vulnerabilities at scale
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault
• Knowledge of Terraform and popular CI/CD tools
• Experience building scalable, secure, and highly available production environments using AWS
• Knowledge of network security services such as AWS WAF and Cloudflare
• Ability to develop Bash or Go tools and scripts for automation
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written
• Ability to gain stakeholder support for security and best practices
