Micro Center seeks a Technical Support Representative to deliver hands-on, in-store support for PCs, components, and consumer electronics. In this fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic networking issues while guiding customers on product selection, upgrades, and configurations. You’ll document cases, collaborate with sales and service teams, and stay current on the latest technologies. This role is ideal for tech enthusiasts eager to deepen their expertise, solve real-world problems, and grow within a leading computer and electronics retailer., * Provide in-person technical support for PCs, components, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Guide customers on product selection, upgrades, and configurations
- Document issues and resolutions in ticketing/CRM systems
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay current on latest PC hardware and consumer electronics
- Educate customers on best practices, maintenance, and data protection
Requirements
- Technical troubleshooting (Windows)
- PC hardware diagnostics and repair
- Networking basics (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, routers)
- Customer service and conflict resolution
